Hank
Drought, MS, CSCS*D, NSCA-CPT*D has been a personal trainer and
strength and conditioning consultant in the United States and Europe
for over 25 years. He was awarded Personal
Trainer of the Year in 2000 by the National Strength &
Conditioning Association (NSCA), and was selected one of the "100
Best Trainers in America" by Men's
Journal magazine in

Mr. Drought has been a member of the Board of Directors
for the National Strength & Conditioning Association, and is a
former member of the Lake Placed Olympic Organizing Committee for
the XIIIth Winter Olympic Games. He is an internationally
recognized speaker and writer on training topics, and is frequently
interviewed in national magazines and on television.
Drought holds an MS in Clinical Exercise Physiology
from Northeastern University in Boston and a BS in Physical Education
from Rutgers University and the United States Military Academy
at West Point. He has earned professional certifications
from the National Strength & Conditioning Association, American
College of Sports Medicine, American Council on Exercise, and USA
Weightlifting.
Hank has been an intercollegiate football and baseball
player, an international rugby player in Europe, a Boston Marathon
finisher, and a T'ai Chi Ch'uan practitioner.
He has authored a chapter in the NSCA's
Essentials of Personal Training textbook, and his biography
is included in Marquis' 'Who's Who in America.
